There’s nothing better than a cup of soup on a chilly fall or winter day. This one is one my family’s favorites (It’s
MY favorite because it’s sooo easy)! This recipe uses a crock pot; it’s great for a busy weekend. I got this one from a Gooseberry Patch recipe book. Try it out and let me know what you think! Also, if there’s another recipe that you’d like to see me write about, or one that you’d like to share - please let me know!
What you’ll need:
2 (10 oz) packages of frozen broccoli cuts
2 (10 3/4 oz) cans cream of celery soup
2c half and half
8 oz jar of pasteurized processed cheese sauce (I use Cheez Wiz)
2 tsp chicken bouillon
salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a slow cooker. Cook on low setting for 5 to 6 hours.
This recipe makes 6 servings. I usually double this one and freeze one-serving portions to bring to work!
Enjoy!
